That's right-a million, as in multi-million-dollar, state-of-the-art equipment. Associated combines that equipment with thorough Quality Assurance processes, and the result is that even your most demanding apparel and linen are returned impeccably clean, fresh, and crisp-every time. And you thought all laundry services were the same!
Your laundry is in good hands-from the minute we pick it up to the minute.
We return it, from washing to pressing. We even have a guaranteed redelivery program for our apparel that uses an innovative bar coding system. Our drivers scan the garments at the pickup location; the garments are processed in our plant, and then re-scanned before redelivery. This way, we can track each and every piece through the whole process!

Step One: Sorting And WeighingWe have specific locations for sorting different products, so heavily soiled mechanics' uniforms are not thrown in with fine tablecloths (unlike some of our competitors!). Automatic conveyor belts bring the laundry to our sorters in lots, one customer at a time. That gives us better quality control over the process, and makes counting and sorting much easier. The pieces are fed to inline scales-these are actually slings that measure each load's weight. The laundry is divided into specific, controlled units of 600 or 400 pounds, depending on the washer they're directed to. When the preset limit is reached, the sling automatically releases the load to stage for the washing process. |

Step Two: Power WashingFirst, we thoroughly flush and agitate each load three times. This is done without chemicals, and it removes most of the heavy soil. We then use a liquid injection system with an automatic backup to deliver chemicals and detergents to each and every wash load. Then each load is rinsed completely. During the rinse cycle, our system opens a second drain to capture the rinse water, which is then used for flushing the next load-saving hundreds of thousands of gallons a month. In fact, our incredibly efficient system uses less than a gallon of water per pound of wash-while some older systems use four gallons or more! |

Step Three: Super-Efficient DryingOnce a laundry load is completely clean, it's extracted onto a shuttle that takes it across the room to huge, high-capacity dryers. All of our dryers have microprocessor controls, which help them operate 60 percent more efficiently than traditional dryers! |

Step Four: Exceptional PressingTo ensure that linens are pressed perfectly-seamless, with straight, crisp edges-we use state-of-the-art tools and processes. Each piece is carefully hand-fed into the machine, which measures the width and sends the item on to the ironing rollers. The piece is then pressed a total of three times. Finally, the machine measures the item's length, precisely folds it, and releases it. |
Specialized Cleaning Requirements:
- We're one of the premier clean room facilities in the country-we're certified for conditions from Class 10,000 to Class 10. We have special equipment that's used for clean room apparel only, and every process-washing, drying, folding, inspection, and packaging-is completed in a meticulously monitored and controlled environment.
- Our continuous-batch washer is the only one in Western New York. This system has a large production capacity-it's especially useful for fast turnaround orders and for processing heavily soiled garments. It features 12 washers that rotate in unison, and extractors that automatically remove the clean laundry and shuttle it to the next available dryer.
- We have a smaller washer/dryer system that's exclusively for executive apparel. You'll get the same spectacular results as you would from a high-end dry cleaner.
